FDC lançou, em Julho, na província de Cabo Delgado, a campanha de distribuição gratuita da rede mosquiteira. No total, foram distribuídas 1.5 milhão de redes mosquiteiras para 2.6 milhões de habitantes.
A cerimónia do lançamento da campanha de distribuição gratuita da rede mosquiteira foi dirigida pelo Governador de Cabo Delgado, Júlio José Parruque, e contou com a presença dos representantes do MISAU; da Visão Mundial, do Fundo Global; da FDC;  além da população e da estrutura administrativa, tradicional e religiosa do  distrito de Meluco.
